The Met Ball 2012

Finally the annual Met Ball has arrived ! Tonight all the celebs will come together to celebrate the annual opening of the Metropolitan Museum's (The Met) fashion exhibit at the Costume Institute. A lot of designers get their inspiration from parties like these!  So I really wonder who will be attending and what everyone will be wearing to fashion prom . Here are some pictures of last year:

Black and beige is always an amazing combination. And then combined with the 'bare leg'. Excellent. This year at the oscars of 2012 there was a huge commotion about Angelina Jolie and her 'bare leg' and since then this has been a new trend in Hollywood. This is the thing where Angelina Jolie is now currently most famous for. Though Ashley (or Mary-Kate) beat her to it!

Taylor Swift

Again, combination black and beige. This time in a more lacey form.
I also really love the hairstyle and her pouted red lips.

Isabel Lucas

This girl knows how to accessorize. She's not afraid to go a little overboard. I also love the colour of her dress and the design. A neckline-dress is always in style.

Renée Zellweger

Always sexy: the open back dress. After all the times she had to become fat (and was willing to) for the 'Bridget Jones' movies she always managed to get skinny again in time for events. That's really something to admire.

Kristen Bell and Isla Fisher

Isla Fisher from 'Confessions of a shopaholic' and Kristen Bell (known from many TV shows) were also attending Met Ball '11. Kristen decided to go with a golden leather maxi dress and Isla went for the purple/blue bustier dress.

Leighton Meester

Leighton obviously went for elegance. Her hair straight back, diamond earings and an elegant black dress with lots of details. What else to expect if you have to act as THE Blair Waldorf in the TV-hit show Gossip Girl.

Diane decided to combine it all. The leg, the beige and black combination, the fine details, the transparant fabric,... without going overboard and still looking really elegant.

The 'other gossip girl' Blake Lively also went for elegance but with a hint of sexy. She's always known to be the 'sexbomb' in Hollywood.

Bar Refaeli

If there is one thing I absolutely ADORE it's a bustier with a lot of details. This dress is definitely in my top 3. I love gold, I love studs, I love bustiers, ... This dress really has it all.

Gisele, one of the prettiest and most famous models in the world decided to go with a gorgeous red dress. It's also a very soft fabric. Maybe that's why her date couldn't keep his hands of her ass the entire evening?
